TEENS FOR CHRIST HAD COWBOY NIGHT. WIN PRIZES FOR BEST DRESSED, BUT JOSH HAD THE WRONG NIGHT. HE SHOWED UP, THANKFULLY ALL THESE FRIENDS OF HIS ARE GOOD CHRISTIAN KIDS AND DIDN'T MAKE FUN OF HIM. I THINK PERHAPS A COUPLE OTHERS HAD THE DATES WRONG TOO.. STILL HE LOOKED CUTE.

It is time for the chickens to be cooped....literally..

I found this cute little coop on craigslist and the guy was so nice to add 2 more brooding boxes for me. It could only house 4, but we had six. So he made it bigger for us, delivered it. Now we need a pen.

 Poof.. here it is. the pen.. OK it didn't happen that way. Chris and the boys worked hard on this for days. but they have to figure out how to get it up to the coop and not let the foxes in.

hmm....is this going to work? Foxes and coyotes roam these area...

Meet Mr. C

 

THIS IS BILL COURNOYER. JOSH'S SCIENCE TEACHER FOR BOTH GENERAL SCIENCE AND PHYSICAL SCIENCE TWO YEARS IN A ROW. HE IS A HOOT.

 

 EVERY YEAR MR. C BRING IN LIQUID NITROGEN AND HAS THE CLASSMATES BRING SOMETHING TO BE FROZEN AND SMASHED..EVERYONE FROM THE OTHER SCIENCE CLASSES COME JOIN. IT IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR FOR MOST OF THEM. THEY GET TO EAT FROZEN GRAHAM CRACKERS AND MAKE STEAM OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. HOMESCHOOLERS RIGHT=)

 

 HERE IS THE STEAM. I WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO CAPTURE IT. JOSH REALLY ENJOYS MR C'S CLASS. PLUS HE IS REALLY FUNNY.

 I WAS NEVER MORE PROUD THAN TODAY. ZACK SPOKE (being on the shy side) CLEAR, LOUDLY, SLOWLY AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. HE HAAAAATTTTEEEESS BEING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE.

THIS IS ZACK'S GOOD FRIEND, HUNTER SHRIVER. HE DID AN AWESOME PRESENTATION ON SKATEBOARDING AND HAD MANY FUN VISUALS FOR THE GANG.

 We saw this flock of deer and were reallllllly excited. We have enough land that Chris and Josh can hunt this year and hopefully get a deer. Or maybe even a turkey...( one more can't hurt=)  meaning I have three boys and a husband.. ha ha... Kidding guys...

 

FLOCK O TURKEYS

 He looks so cute and so cold...He probably isn't cold, but he is cute..

 We have sumac trees EVERYWHERE on the property and birds go crazy eating the berries off in the winter..

 I had to get this picture. The bunny is taking a nap ( I know how can he in the snow)but he fluffed himself into a little ball, slept and then proceeded to jump into my bird feeder (hopped more like) and ate my seeds. You will see the pic below.
