Josh Turns 12... yikes time flew....

Happy Birthday Dear Joshua.. You are twelve now and fastly becoming a teenager soon.. I have enjoyed you so much, mixed with some hard times, when you were a little one, you were the happiest child I knew and you still love life, people and I see glimpses of your love for the Lord...

Joshua wanted a sleepover with a few boys which ended up being about 10 or 11 boys.. He wanted it in the basement, which not being finished was not flying with Mom, but Josh said, "their guys, they won't care if the walls are painted." So he picked out the colors and everything. His friends said it was the coolest party they had been to. I put lots of snacks, pizza and even borrowed a TV so that all the boys could play XBox at the same time.. Josh got an XBox for his birthday , with his birthday money and had a few of the other boys bring their and their controllers and they played Halo Reach all night .. Snacks, pizza games, sleepover. well it was quite interesting..

Here you can see two of the TV's and there is one more not in the picture.. They all had so much fun.. They were all really good boys too, so that made it even better..

A twelve year old look , right...The cake was a hunter and a deer by a stream..Josh loves hunting, and fishing. All the outdoor activities he can find to do.

Christmas 2010 ...Happy Birthday Jesus !!!

We spent christmas afternoon with Nana and Papa.. The boys all got really fun and playful things from them.. We are glad they are here for some of the holidays...

My fireplace decorated in nutcrackers, which we collect and have collected for years..We have quite a few already.. Zack started the tradition when he was one years old and carried the nutcracker with him everywhere he went, he wouldn't let me put it up for christmas.

Robin Search, a dear friend of mine, lost her mother to cancer last year.. as she was going through her mother's stuff, she came upon these 4 adorable nutcrackers and knew we collected the.. needless to say, she sent them to us for a present.. they were a nice addition...

Nick turned 8, my baby is growing up...

My Nicholas William turned eight... What a joy he is to be around, a joy to everyone.. He is kindhearted , affectionate and boy do his brothers spoil him. They both think he is cute, and he is very loving, very sweet and very well rounded.. He is good at whatever he puts his mind to. Did I say he is also anal.. He likes things clean and neat.. YES !!!!

The infamous penguin cake.. Nick saw the cake at Walmart and had to have a club penguin birthday theme.. Well another child who wants a cake I don't have to make.. I added the swedish fish, though.. we thought it was a nice touch..

Nick really wanted this penguin for his birthday as to stick with the penguin theme.. He sleeps with him every night.. He calls him poptop which is what his penguin on club penguin is called.

Here we are at Americinn in stillwater,MN.. Nick wanted to keep in line with the water and penguin theme, so we rented the party room at the hotel..

All boys with no shirts on eating pizza and laughing.. Brian Donohoo is next to Zack, then Vitaly Brown was there, Graham Pelton , Jake , Josh Leslie and Josh Burow.. They had so much fun swimming and playing games..

We played a dug bobbing game, Nick and I put it together.. You had to match the numbers under the duck and if you got a match, you won a prize.. Josh squirted mommy and boy did they laugh..
