My 3 little Cavemen...

Crystal Cave in Wisconsin

At the end of the cave, the boys got to do some panning for precious gems.. You got a large bag filled with sand, fossils and gems.. They had fun doing that...
Zack trying to catch any small loose gems that got away.

Daddy helping Nick with his pan..

The start of the panning process.

In one of the dark rooms deep down below (75 feet below), when the original boys who found this cave must have dropped a coin or stuck it in the wall, because there is a coin from the 1800's stuck and so the tradition is to make a wish and put a coin in the wall. It was filled with thousands of coins, but your wish would not come true if it fell out.. Of course deep below, we had no change with us and some nice man gave each of the boys a quarter..

Neat little cubbies below...

The caves sure do make some funky looking scary walls.
Several of the walls looked like Ghosts and weird faces..

Some neat Stalactite or some big word like that.. If you even touch the wall, it turns black.. It takes hundreds of years just to make these small ones..

Nick at the end of a tunnel.. they are excavating and making more tunnels.. Some for crawling through, splunking and so on.

See if you can make any faces out of this wall..

They call this the refrigerator.. You can make out what looks like a coke bottle, a muffin, a carrot hanging from the ceiling..

Cool and awesome.
