Winter 2015

I don't know why this picture makes me sad. It is so beautiful. Nick and Zack were just playing around but when I found it, I thought it was artwork, but also sad one day those handprints will be gone. =(

Josh using his manly big boy toy...

Chris and Josh discussing plan of attack!!!

Josh and daddy going over to the neighbors to plow them out. Not sure if they were being servants or just using that as an excuse to use their big boy toys...=)

Nick and Zack enjoying the snow..

Josh brought home a realllllllly old snowmobile that should be shot and said. Dad can we fix her up.???

CJ AIRBORN!!!

Trip to Duluth with Uncle John!!

The home I grew up in in Two Harbors, MN. We lived there for 3 years or so. Lake Superior was only a few blocks away so you can imagine how cold it was in the winters with lakefront winds.

the shoreline on Lake Superior on our way to Duluth to watch my niece Melissa play college hockey.

Pictures don't do this justice but the fog was so thick on the Lake.

Melissa, Nick, Uncle John and Papa after Melissa's game.

The arena where we ice skated growing up in Two Harbors.

The boys with their cousins Michelle and Laura...

AWWW. the start of a cute friendshiip between cousins...

Mom's Geography Class..

I taught a geography class this year at our homeschool coop. We galloped the globe by making lap books, listening to each country's music while we mapped, reading missionary stories about those countries and then at the end of each continent we had a feast and each child brought a dish from different countries within that continent. It was the highlight of my year...

Christmas in the Burow Home 2015!!!!

Doing a tour of downtown Afton, MN. A quaint little town that we moved from a few years ago. Josh works for the Afton Inn during the summer time. We love to eat at the restaurants there and sit around a fire pit. A little too cold for that now, but they put on quite the Christmas Celebration. We were there when they did the town lighting...

Getting a fun horse drawn wagon ride up and down the streets to see all the shops lit up.

let the decorating begin.

Every year Zack HAS to make sure Mr. Snowman is on three tree. It is a MUST...no christmas without him.

Finished Product

No Christmas would be complete without Zack's collection of nutcrackers...

The dad smile. Do I really
have to get a picture....Hurry
up and take it look..

NICK TURNS 13!!!!

Nick turned 13 and all he wanted to do was go eat as much Sushi as he can. When they found out it was his birthday, they gave him a really large apple dumpling with ice cream and caramel. Sushi tango is the best. We frequent there so they are good to us...

My baby is thirteen today!! A sad day for us parents as we enter the realm of all teenagers in the house or should I say teenangers....

Nick loves pineapple juice so I attached a balloon with I am sad you are 13 now. Getting so big and grown but he loved the sad, pathetic, shrunken balloon face. He still has it in his room.

This is one of the sweetest people I know and the most thoughtful. He is working on a present for Nana and Papa for Christmas. I am so proud of him. I am so lucky to have him as my son. I thorougly enjoy him!!

Just chillin at a coffee shop. Such a teenager now...

Nick being Nick!!!mo

Mom and Nick on a trip to Home Depot. Always playing around and being silly...LOVE IT!!!
